My journey began when as a 9 years old girl, wrapped in my father’s checkered shirt, I threw 50 cents to the money box kept in our school to support dogs from a local shelter. Somehow a journalist from a local newspaper captured this moment and those 5 minutes of fame hangs now above my grandma’s sewing machine.
Throughout high school and university, I stayed close to various volunteering activities but it wasn’t until I began my professional career when I decided to put my heart and soul into it. My first serious project was English Summer Camp which I started as a volunteer and 1.5 years laters became Project Manager for Winter 2016. This however wasn't enough.
Outside my regular duties I started to test the waters and see how we as a company can support charitable causes both locally and soon globally with the initiatives like World Water Day. I organized many fundraising and in-kind events, selecting causes carefully while at the same time building a network of great people who helped me to make it all happen.
Things escalated quickly. Soon after I became a Global Volunteer Network Lead for Poland in charge for all the charity actions in our region that gave me even more power and motivation to extend the range of our help. In August 2016 I was selected one of 10 delegates to attend One Young World 2016. Words cannot describe what I felt in that moment.
A year after the summit I decided to follow my own path, looking for the ways to learn more about human rights and social justice. This led me to European Development Days in Brussels in June 2017 and eventually to New York where I spent 2 months attending classes at Columbia University and other amazing events that I could not find at home.

To me, this journey has only started. And I invite you take it with me.
